8 year old boy

buhhhhh....I'm getting sick. that's my sick noise (buhhhhh). I cannot breath and my head hurts and my throat hurts and my whole body is sore and my stomach is killing me. however, my $30 Doc Martens *cheer cheer* are making me feel better and my Batman sweater is rather cozy.

My friend & I were supposed to go thrifting today, though she isn't answering her phone. Blah. However, we have a break in school coming up in a few days & I'm going shopping to the Mall of America with my mum. I'm also going to try to persuade some friends to go vintage shopping with me to all the little clothes stores along University Avenue.

I'm in this horrible little class at school called "French Culture" which is supposed to be about the French & their culture. So far I've learned nothing of substance. However, we spent the last two days learning about french cheese. I honestly never knew there were so many rules about cheese making & eating & cutting. I spent most of my time learning about Brie. The reading mentioned something about having a "cheese party" with friends, so now my friend Nathan & I have plans for a cheese party. Including berets, Orangina, and croissants. We're very excited.

It's really cold and rainy out today. Minnesota. So instead of attempting to be fashionable, I've simply decided to dress weather-&-church-&-study appropriate. On another note, I've decided that my prom experience won't be complete unless they play "If You Leave" by Orchestral Manoeuvers in the Dark. Uhm yeah, as in the song they play in Pretty in Pink when she goes to prom.

Next weekend I have a few jeans & tee shirt DIY projects set up which I'll post about later. In two weeks I'm going shopping with my mum. And right now I'm going to go watch a movie and work on this drawing that I've been working on for 3 weeks. It's a giant drawing of myself. I love it, besides the fact that it is of me (it had to be - school assignment).
