emma watson: soccer mum

Don't get me wrong, I love Emma Watson - she's so cute. Her hair & her fashion are (typically) superb. But I must ask: what was she thinking?

This outfit screams stay-at-home soccer mum! I'm not even sure how to best react.

My ridiculous school might let us where black bottoms next year! Yes, as in not khaki every single day. This is terrific because I'm not sure how many more pairs of khaki skinny jeans I can find. Of course they'll have rules on the fitting and such, but I'm still thrilled.

suspenders are not dead

Usually, I don't pay attention to things like suspenders. I love them because they add a nice touch, but I just don't know how to wear them! But then I was flipping through some photos from the TCA & saw Miranda Cosgrove's outfit. I've been dying ever since I saw it. Although it's not exactly the type of event I would've worn the outfit at, those suspenders are just too perfect!

I'm thinking of giving suspenders another go. Anyone know of a store that sells funky suspenders? I have a pair of black ones, but I thought I'd go for something a bit different.

Oh & I was flipping through a magazine (InStyle or Lucky, I believe) & there was this great DIY jeans shorts with suspenders. I want to try that out - they were too cool.
